The Sweet Tooth Hotel in Dallas, is an immersive art museum featuring a captivating Dreamland Art Exhibit with different rooms designed by various artists. Visitors are transported to imaginative worlds of interactive art, each with its own unique theme and style.

Artists featured in the exhibit include Twinkie Chan, Molly Margaret Sydnor, Tramaine Townsend, Madison Mask, and wvvy studio. Their rooms include:

  • Twinkie Chan’s “Sucre Fleuf” room is inspired by old-world bakeries and modern Asian dessert art, blending her love for yarn, sweets, Wes Anderson movies, and 80s cartoons.

  • Molly Margaret Sydnor’s “Lucid Mirage” explores identity, gender, race, and sexuality through interactive storytelling and layering of media and imagery.

  • Tramaine Townsend is a mixed media visual artist who utilizes photography, design, film, and animation to create minimal and immersive experiences with a narrative element.

  • Madison Mask's “Vice Video” provides a space for people to exist in the moment, offering a surreal and artistic experience in an abandoned VHS rental store.

  • wvvy studio has designed multiple rooms, including “Sprinkle Spa”, “Neon Dreams Gym”, “Suite Sweet”, “Groovy Room”, and “Sunset Lounge”, each with its own whimsical and captivating theme.

Meow Wolf is an immersive art experience that will take you on a journey through a surreal world of art and technology. The experience is designed to be interactive, so you’ll be able to touch and feel the art installations. You will be able to explore the different rooms and discover hidden secrets along the way.

A new permanent exhibition has opened in Grapevine, The Real Unreal. This exhibition explores the unknown and offers a mesmerizing, interactive artscape that challenges reality and imagination. It emphasizes the theme of chosen family and community, presenting an inspiring tale of ordinary families encountering the extraordinary.

The Real Unreal is a collaborative effort between Texas and Santa Fe-based artists.

3. Rainbow Vomit

Rainbow Vomit is an experiential art gallery located in Dallas, offering visitors a surreal and immersive journey through a fantasy world of art, light, and sound.

The exhibit features a surreal world of color and art, with interactive installations that bring books to life and allow visitors to become the heroes of their own comics.

The installation includes over 10,000 LEDs, 1000 balloons, 300 pounds of cotton, and four miles of ribbon, creating an immersive and visually captivating experience.

4. Immersive Gamebox

Immersive Gamebox in Deep Ellum, Dallas offers a unique experience of immersive group gaming with motion tracking, touch screens, surround sound, and drink service during gameplay.

The games offered include “Ghostbusters: The Cursed Collection”, “Squid Game”, “Paw Patrol”, “Alien Aptitude Test”, “Angry Birds”, “Psychedelic Mansion”, “James Bunny: Casino Tropicale”, “Temple of Coins”, and “Ticket to Mars”.

5. SPARK!

SPARK! is an indoor immersive, creative environment for children age 7-17. It ignites their creativity through a 360-degree, hands-on learning playground that invites children to explore and interact with the arts and other creative disciplines in extraordinary ways. The museum is designed to ignite the curiosity that exists within and around each of us. Around every corner comes an opportunity to be creative, discover something unexpected, ask questions, and play.

PRISMATIC is a pop-up experience at SPARK! where visitors can experience rooms decorated with a single color and theme, all designed and built by local high school students. The pop-up offers various admission options, including adult nights, family days, and private event rentals.

6. Dallas Art District

The Dallas Art District is a vibrant and exciting destination for art lovers. The district is a hub for creativity and innovation, attracting artists and art enthusiasts from all over the world.

It’s home to some of the best museums and galleries in the city, including the Dallas Museum of Art and the Nasher Sculpture Center. Each of these museums and galleries regularly has interactive and immersive exhibits.

  • AT&T Performing Arts Center: The AT&T Performing Arts Center is a world-class performing arts venue that hosts some of the best theater, dance, and music performances in Dallas. The center features several performance spaces, including the Winspear Opera House and the Wyly Theatre.
